Golf Tip-ball position for your irons

Do you know the correct ball position for your irons?

If you are having trouble hitting clean iron shots off the fairway or out of the rough check your ball position. The correct ball position for you low irons, your 2-5 iron should be towards your left heel. You want the ball more towards the center of your stance for your 6-9 irons. Now if you have a tree or something in front of you and want the ball to come out low then you want to use a low iron like a 3 or 4 and you want the ball position to be toward the back of your stance, your right foot that way when you make contact with the ball you don't get a lot of loft. If you want to do the opposite and hit a real high shot over a tree try moving the ball forward in your stance to your left heel and try using like a 9 iron of pitching wedge.

Try some of these small adjustments to your own golf game and see if it helps you out.

We will see you again next week for another golf tip.
