Indefinite Break From Golf?
Wow Tiger Woods taking a break from golf? He has not said when he will return but he is doing the right thing. Tiger said he needs to take time to focus on being a better husband, father, and person. The PGA tour supports his decision.
There is no doubt everyone knows he is the best golfer but what does this show now to all of his fans especially the fans who are young golfers who look up to him? Tiger has been a role model for many but will that change now? How many endorsements will stick with him now? Just some questions for thought. There are a lot of different takes on the issue what do you all have to say?
We will just have to wait and see when he returns. I wish him luck and hope he achieves what he is set out to achieve as far as with his family.

Did Tiger Woods Have An Affair?
Do you think Tiger Woods had an affair? Answer in the comment box below. Finally another headline beats the social media for business and twitter hype we have been having these last couple of months. Unless you've been living under a rock the last few days, you know the the latest headlines discuss the car accident Tiger Woods had near his Florida home. What we are finding out is that there may have been some infidelity involved BUT no one is for certain yet. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts. Do you think the most highly paid sports figure and professional golfer Tiger Woods had an affair? What reasons would you believe he did or didn't? I look forward to hearing from you. Never the less, I hope the news media can leave his family alone during this tough time and I am glad he is ok from the car accident.

Golf Tip-Ball position for your Driver
Is getting off the tee a challenge for you?
Is your ball position correct?
When you are teed up on the number one hole you always want to hit a good drive. You can do so with the right ball position. Keeping the ball by your left heel makes it so that when you come through your shot you catch the ball on your upswing creating a high arch and a ball flight. This will help the ball stay in the air longer and go further.
Check your ball position next time you are on the tee to be sure that the ball is by your left heel it makes a big difference.
Social networking for business is still the talk of the town. Make sure you check it out if you are looking for new business.

Golf Tip-ball position for your irons
Do you know the correct ball position for your irons?
If you are having trouble hitting clean iron shots off the fairway or out of the rough check your ball position. The correct ball position for you low irons, your 2-5 iron should be towards your left heel. You want the ball more towards the center of your stance for your 6-9 irons. Now if you have a tree or something in front of you and want the ball to come out low then you want to use a low iron like a 3 or 4 and you want the ball position to be toward the back of your stance, your right foot that way when you make contact with the ball you don't get a lot of loft. If you want to do the opposite and hit a real high shot over a tree try moving the ball forward in your stance to your left heel and try using like a 9 iron of pitching wedge.
Try some of these small adjustments to your own golf game and see if it helps you out.
We will see you again next week for another golf tip.

Golf Tip-Ball position for chip shots
Are you having problems with your chipping?
If so, next time you are out on the golf course check your set-up and make sure your ball position is correct. A lot of people do not really think about the small things like ball position that matter the most. If the ball is in the wrong position to start with the shot is not going to be as successful.
Be sure to keep checking back with Daily Golf Deals San diego as well as Social Networking San Diego for more great tips.

What does golf and weddings have in common?
Why do so many people choose to get married and/or have their wedding reception at a golf course? It could be either the beautiful scenery, the architecture of all the courses, or the passion for golf the bride and groom may share. Just as the "Surf Meets the Turf," what better way to start a marriage than on the links.
The First Annual Bridal Show hosted by Pala Mesa Resort is this Sunday, June 7th from 11am-4pm. This sure to be the place for social networking, as well as checking out an exceptional wedding venue.

Reflection on Phil Mickelsons current status
To San Diego, Phil Mickelson is our Home Town Hero. He is not only known for his accomplishments in Golf, but his devotion to his wife and family. He has suspended his PGA tour indefinitely, due to the recent news. Thankfully, because of social networking, we have the ability to share support. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Mickelson family.

What do hooters and golf courses have in common?
Finding daily golf deals around San Diego county can be pretty tough right now, but what do golf and hooters have in common? Actually, hooters and golf courses have a lot in common. They actually built a hooters right near a golf course in my hometown Oceanside, CA. who'd of thought? Its finished now but i happen to get a picture of hooters being built on the course a couple years ago and thought i would share. This just happens to be in my back yard too, so sometimes after a good round of skins at El Camino County Club Golf Course in Oceanside, I head over to hooters for some wings and things. Oceanside has some other great courses too like Goat Hill where i learned to play golf and took lessons with a Pro Lud. Those were some great times, winning closest to the pin for a hot dog and getting a FREE round. I miss those days. Social Networking for business is a lot like golf. You can actually have fun while building business relationships whether its on the course OR on a social site like linked-in or twitter.

2 Ways Golf Relates To Business, Social Networking and Twitter
Two passions of mine are golf and business. These two are very similar, especially how it relates in the on-line world. As we become a more digitally connected society, it is important to build business relationships online in the virtual world as well as the golf course. A lot of business deals believe it or not are done on many golf courses around the world. I have come up with some unique ways golf relates to social networking for business. I am interested in your feedback so please let me know if these are sufficient points.
1. Your business takes time to grow, just like your golf game
No one can go out and shoot 72 their first time. Just like in business, no one becomes a success overnight. It takes years of building up. Some newbie golfers go to golf camp to learn the basics or possibly a golf boot camp for the fast track approach. Just like this company in San Diego called Social Networking San Diego gives the fast track to social media and social networking for business purposes. The same applies in online businesses. The point is You MUST get educated on how to do business online if you are to play the business game online.
2. Golfing is usually done with friends, business partners, or colleagues
I cant tell you how many times i have been golfing with people i enjoy spending time with. I have been golfing with clients, partners, and of course family and friends. The thing to understand is golf is relationship building just like social networking. It takes time and those who are in it for the short run or are looking at twitter negatively just don't get it. Twitter is just a communication tool to build relationships online. Think of it like a virtual networking group on demand.

Top Golf Courses For Summers In Southern California
I'm always asked whenever on twitter, a business call, or some other social networking site, whats the best course you've played in Southern California? Your so lucky to have the Florida weather without the humidity. I must say that's a hard one to answer. But i do enjoy playing at Rams Hill in Borrego Springs. Why you ask? That is a yearly gathering spot for myself, my uncles, and my Father. We love getting away from the traffic on the 5 freeway for a few days, away from the southern California rat race, and hit the links at Rams Hill for the weekend. This helps us keep our sanity while living in this screwed up state. Also, Not to many foursomes out during 105 degree weather, but hey my dad likes it so what the heck. Above is a pic of Rams Hill when they were re-doing it. We had to play another local course close by that trip, but looking forward to going back this summer. This is definitely a hidden jewel if you want to play golf in peace, don't mind 105 degree temperatures, and no traffic of course. i did shoot an 86 there last time i played which was quite good considering almost getting heat stroke. What is your favorite So Cal Course? Leave me a comment below- thanks

What do golf and the Kentucky derby have in common?
Golf and the Kentucky derby have a lot in common. The winner of the Kentucky derby today was a horse by the name of mine that bird. Funny how there is an interesting connection between the twitter bird icon of the social networking for business site twitter and the winner of todays Kentucky derby. This was a long shot (just like twitter has been, but they surely are beating the odds just like "mine that bird" did today.)
Golf has gambling too associated with it sometimes. a friendly game of skins, best ball tournaments for a good cause, or just your long drive contest. I will be keeping you all up to date with golf tips, tricks, golf deals, and golf discounts relating to the southern California area so check back soon.
